Moldovan border guards prevented the trafficking of 12 nationals of Moldova - women aged 20 to 28, who were heading to Europe under the leadership of a "lady coach".

She stated to the border officers she was escorting the girls to an international marathon running competition in Budapest. The only document she could produce was a strangely looking invitation to the sportive contest, which turned out to be a fake paper. The entire "team of athletes" did not have even a single sportive article about them, but everyone had phrasebooks of Italian.

The officers believe the vehicle's ultimate destination was Italy where the charming girls were intended for a 'prostitution marathon'. One of the first things they told the police was that the trip organizers had collected 2,500 to 2,700 euros from each of them.
