The «Azpetrol» Company received the right to take a lease of six State-owned plots of land on the territory of the Chisinau municipality for the construction of filling stations.

The government took a respective decision, having approved a resolution on the additional measures for the implementation of the investment agreement on the construction of the «Giurgiulesti» international free port. It is planned to specify the area and the term of the lease of the land plots in the nearest time.

According to Minister of Economy and Trade Valeriu Lazar, it is possible that the lease period will constitute 99 years as the lease period of the land plots, designed for the construction of the oil terminal and the freight and passenger port is equal to 99 years.

Earlier the «Azpetrol» Company planned to build about 50 filling stations in Moldova, but the investor faces difficulties in acquiring land plots for this purpose.
