The Independent Journalism Center, jointly with Missouri School of Journalism, has opened in Chisinau a school of advanced experience.
Center Director Corina Cepoi told a news conference in Infotag today the school will have 20 students, for the beginning, and lessons will commence on September 4.
The students will be trained in news preparation; radio and TV journalism; legislation and journalist ethics; economic, research and business journalism; photojournalism; mass media management. Lessons will be conducted by Moldovan and foreign experts.
After theory lessons, the students will take a 6-week training at a newspaper, magazine, radio or television company.
The news conference was held in the framework of the Press Freedom Days that will last in Moldova until the end of May.
