The third edition of the Polish Film Festival in Moldova will be held in Chisinau between November 21 and 27 at the Odeon Center of Culture.
According to a communique from the Center, the program of the festival includes Polish movies that won different awards and prizes at national and international contests and festivals.
The festival will be opened on November 21, starting at 18.00, with the romantic comedy “Loneliness in Network” directed by Witold Adamec, 2006.
The following movies will be screened during the festival: “Figurants” directed by Michal Kwiecinski, 2006 (comedy); “Jasmine” directed by Jan Iacob Kolski, 2006 (romantic comedy); “Hania” directed by Ianusz Golda, 2007 (drama); “Extended Weekend” directed by Robert Glinski, 2004 (comedy, drama); “Testosteron” directed by Tomasz Konescki, 2007 (comedy); “Market of the Savior” directed by Joanna Kos Krauze, 2006 (drama).
The movies will be shown at Odeon every evening, starting at 18.00. Entrance is free of charge.
The festival was organized by the Odeon Center of Culture in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Moldova and the Institute of Poland in Bucharest.
