The possessor of those nine Ka-26 helicopters put up for sale by the state company Agroavia, became an Ukrainian buyer. The airship made in 1972 was sold for 16 Th. USD on Friday, 11 February, the last day of the 15-day period when the helicopters were to be bought at the Universal Commodities Exchange of Moldova (UCEM).
According to UCEM president, Igor Dodon, on the same day other buyers from Belarus and Romania showed their interest for the objects that were put up for sale. Thus, the helicopters are to be put up for sale the second time at the end of the current week, mentioned Dodon.
In another context, Dodon specified that the agricultural helicopters were made 30 years ago and in order to use them, financial investments are needed. The repair of such a ship would need about 50 Th. USD, stated Dodon.
The sale price of the airships varies between 14 Th. and 35 Th. dollars, in accordance with their technical condition and production year.
